I am originally from Goldsboro, NC and started my business in Clayton, NC where I lived for over 10 years. I now live in Emerald Isle, NC with my husband and two children and when I am not working for you, you can find me living my best beach life and creating memories with my family on the Crystal Coast. I also have a passion for real estate and in essence that has evolved into my career as well and become a big part of my client base. I graduated from Meredith College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. The majority of my career was at a CPA firm in Raleigh, NC where I started as an intern and continued my career for eleven years. This experience guided me into following my dream of being a business owner and during my time there I found there was a tremendous need in good bookkeeping services. So in 2016, I took the plunge and created Beyond Bookkeeping, LLC. With my prior experience as a Senior Accountant and background in tax accounting, I have the necessary knowledge to support the bookkeeping needs of your business. Our goal is to provide you with personalized, outstanding, and affordable bookkeeping services so you can focus on running your business. Patty Alfonsin

Accounting Manager

Patty graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Her early career included accounting and project management roles for Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare and medical device industry. Patty returned to her childhood home in North Carolina in 2017 and currently resides in Clayton, NC with her husband and four kids. After taking time out of her career to raise her children, she returned to work with Julie and Beyond Bookkeeping in 2018 and has enjoyed getting to know Julie’s clients and their businesses. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her active family and attending sporting and school events. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her four-legged family members.

Jeff Hall

Operations Manager

Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from NC State University. He has spent the past 15 years working in municipal government in various roles for the Town of Cary and the Town of Emerald Isle. Throughout his career in local government he was responsible for overseeing new development, and making sure projects were in compliance and moving towards completion in a timely manner. He is also the co-owner and manager of Why Knot Getaway, a collection of vacation rental studios in Beaufort. Jeff’s experience will now be welcomed by Beyond Bookkeeping to help the business be best positioned to serve the needs of its clients.

Julia Alfonsin

Intern

Julia began working as an intern at Beyond Bookkeeping as a Senior in high school. She is currently attending UNC- Chapel Hill, pursuing a business degree along with a masters in accounting.
